1. Who We Are

Konvrt (konvrt.cc) is a collection of free, browser-based productivity tools. We are the operator of this website. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: privacy@konvrt.cc

2. Data You Enter Into Our Tools

All tool processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste email addresses into the Email Verifier or text into the AI Scrubber:

• Your input is never sent to Konvrt servers.
• No input data is stored, logged, or retained after you close or refresh the page.
• The Email Verifier makes DNS-over-HTTPS requests to Cloudflare (cloudflare-dns.com) and Google (dns.google) to look up MX records for email domains. Only the domain portion of each email (e.g. gmail.com) is sent in these requests — never the local part (username).

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use two third-party services that set cookies on your device:

3a. Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site — which tools are popular, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. GA4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* that persist for up to 2 years.

Data collected by GA4 includes: pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic location (country/city), browser and device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking:

• Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Use your browser's built-in privacy settings or enable "Do Not Track".
• Use a privacy-focused browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

3b. Google AdSense

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense to fund the ongoing development and hosting of Konvrt. AdSense uses cookies (such as IDE, NID, and DSID) to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history and interests, unless you opt out.

To manage ad personalisation:

• Visit adssettings.google.com to opt out of personalised ads.
• Visit youronlinechoices.eu (EU) or optout.aboutads.info (US) for industry opt-out tools.

4. DNS-over-HTTPS Requests (Email Verifier only)

When using the Email Verifier, your browser sends DNS queries directly to Cloudflare and Google DNS. These queries include only email domain names (e.g. gmail.com) — not full email addresses. Please review their respective privacy policies:

5. Your Rights

GDPR (EU/UK residents): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object to processing of your personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data directly, the primary exercise of these rights relates to Google Analytics and AdSense data, which you can manage via Google's tools linked above. For any other requests, contact privacy@konvrt.cc.

CCPA (California residents): We do not sell your personal information. Opt-out of targeted advertising by Google via adssettings.google.com. To submit a CCPA request, email privacy@konvrt.cc.

6. Data Retention

Konvrt itself retains no user data. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's default settings (26 months). Ad interaction data is retained by Google per their policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us at privacy@konvrt.cc.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
